Graveside service for J.D. McIntyre, 80, of Danville will be Wednesday, January 27, 2016 at 11 a.m. at Burningtree Cemetery with Rev. Ron Manly officiating and Ridout's Brown-Service Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be Tuesday, January 26, 2016 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Mr. McIntyre, who died Saturday, January 23, 2016 at his residence, was born February 19, 1935, in Georgia. He was a member of Walden Chapel Baptist Church. He was also a member of Rising Sun Masonic Lodge No. 29 and Cahaba Shrine in Huntsville. His son, Johnny D. McIntyre Jr. preceded him in death.
Survivors include his wife, Betty McIntyre; three sons, Bobby McIntyre and wife, Cindy, Robby McIntyre and wife, Susan and Keith McIntyre and wife, Susan; one daughter, Brenda Snider; one sister, Barbara Pelham; nine grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson.
Pallbearers will be grandsons.
