Ruth Blankenship, 68, of Moulton died Monday, January 21, 2013.

Funeral will be Friday, January 25, 2013, at 11 a.m. at Moulton Congregational Christian Church with Bro. Tommy Rhodes and Bro. Anthony "Pinky" Tyler officiating and Elliott Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in Mountain Springs Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday from 6 to 9 p.m. at the church.

Mrs. Blankenship was preceded in death by her parents, Johnie Wilson and Dora Isbell Wilson, brothers, Bill Benefield, Walter Benefield and Carl Ray Wilson; sisters Viola Clemons and Wyomia McGeeB

She is survived by her husband of 25 years, Starlin Blankenship; one daughter, Phyllis Wallace (Waymon); two sons, Charles "Charlie" Cooper (Monica) and Marlon Blankenshp (LeAnn); 11 grandchildren, Jonathan Wallace (Katie), Tiffany Wright, Anthony Gibson, Nick Kerby, Emma Cooper, Nathan Kerby, Eric Gibson, Natlee Kerby, Jami Wallace, Paige Cooper and Marianna Cooper, and one great-grandchild; Aidyn Kerby; one sister, Berta Campane; and a host of friends.
Pallbearers will be, Roger Luallen, Jerry Yarbrough, James Powers, Billy Dutton, George Hedges, Ron Eakes, Wayne Ellis and Jason Jackson.
