Funeral service for Johnny Nelms, 68, Decatur will be Friday September 21, 2018 at 3:30 p.m. at Ridout's Brown-Service Funeral Home. Burial will be at Roselawn Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mr. Nelms who died Wednesday Sept. 19, 2018 at his residence, was born October 19, 1949 in Morgan County to John T. Nelms Sr. and Frances Morgan Nelms. He was active in the Prison Ministry with Calvary Assembly of God Church.
He is survived by two daughters; Vikki Nelms Mullins (Roy) and Nikki Nelms, one sister; Beth Aldridge (Erskine) and one Grandson; Hunter Mullins.
