Joseph Nevil Evans' Obituary
Joseph Nevil Evans, 77, of Killen died Saturday, July 6, 2013 at ECM Hospital.
Visitation will be Wednesday, July 10, 2013, at Elkins East Chapel from 5-7 PM. Funeral services will be Thursday at Elkins East Chapel at 11 AM with Bro. Ronnie Jones officiating. Burial will be at Hale Cemetery.
Mr. Evans worked as an airplane mechanic and pilot for over 50 years.
He is survived by his wife of 21 years, Debra Evans; children, Rebecca Gray and husband, Virgil; Susan Dicus and husband, Dwight; Joseph E. Evans; Joseph N. Evans; Christina Carroll; and Bobby Evans and wife, Tiffany; sister, Betty Corrine Evans; sister-in-law, Misti Borders; special nephew, Lawrence Kessel; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Mr. Evans was preceded in death by his sister, Eleanor and brother, Gene.
In lieu of flowers, memorial can be made to the "Friends of Joseph Evans" Memorial Fund at any CB&S Bank location.
