Joseph "Joe" Ezell, 30, of Athens died Tuesday, November 26, 2013, at his residence.
Visitation will be Friday, November 29, 2013, at Elkins East Chapel from 10 AM to 12 PM. Funeral services will follow in the chapel with Bro. Sam Hayes officiating. Burial will be at Barkley-White Cemetery.
Mr. Ezell grew up in the Elgin United Methodist Church. He was a graduate of Lauderdale County High School in 2001. He received his Engineering Degree from the University of Auburn in 2005. He was employed with the US Army as an engineer.
Mr. Ezell was preceded in death by his father Michael Ezell and sister Christy Ezell.
He is survived by his mother Sandy Ells (Mike); sister Aaron Ezell; step-brother Blake Ells; grandparents Kathryn Ezell, Betty Adams, and Dot Ells; several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Pallbearers will be Dustin Haraway, Trey Adams, Mitchell Oliver, Daniel Tiede, Clay White, Austin Adams, and Dusty Garner.
