Joseph Bancroft Hill Jr. was born on May 18,1930 in Huntsville, Alabama and passed away November 8, 2017.

He Moved to Decatur in 1951 and was the manager of the shoe department of Ellen''s ladies Shop until he became owner, with his wife Bettye. Of All-Wright Pastry Shop where he worked as a master baker until he retired. He was a long-time member of Southside Baptist church where he served as a deacon. He was also a member of the Gideon international. He loved to travel and spend time with his grandchildren and family.

He is survived by his wife of 67 years Bettye Hornbuckel Hill, Son Joseph B. "Butch" Hill III and wife Helen. Two grandchildren Carrie Hill Dobson and husband Marc. And Joseph B. Hill IV and wife Gabrielle: Four great Grandchildren Helen Claire and Laney Dobson, Banks and Jude Hill. Sister Emma Sirote of Huntsville.

To Honor and Celebrate Joe''s Life there will be a service on Sunday, November 12, 2017 at 2:00 PM at Ridout''s Brown-Service Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Ben Hayes officiating. Visitation will be one hour before the service and burial at Roselawn Cemetery. Pallbearers will Be John Allison, john young, Wayne Baggett, J.B. Dye, Ray Cox and Sam ward
