Joshua Dale Hodges

Age 43 died peacefully in the arms of his wife and surrounded by his children, parents, and siblings on August 14, 2021 at NAMC Hospital.

Josh was born May 17, 1978 in Florence, Alabama.

Josh's passion was his family. He was a devoted husband, father, son, and friend. He loved football, especially Alabama (Roll Tide), music, and was a huge history lover.

Josh is survived by his wife Melissa (Missy), his children Kaylor Hodges, Dylan Hodges, Aaden Hodges, Breana (Braeden) Richardson, Morgan Cloud, and Olivia Cloud. Father and Stepmother Johnny (Lessie) Hodges, Mother and Stepfather Grace (Jack) Straub. Siblings Johnna (Joe) Miller, Brandy (Chris) Davis, Evan Hodges, Cierra Hodges and Grandmother Katherine Hodges. His Mother in law Beverly Beam, Brother in law Michael (Tricia) Beam and lots of nieces and nephews.

Josh is preceded in death by his Grandfather Chester Hodges, Grandparents Eunice and Durwand Kirkland, Uncle Dale Hodges, and Father in law Gerald Beam.

Josh was loved by so many and will be missed greatly. He had a heart of gold and was always willing to help anyone in need. May you rest in sweet peace in the arms of your heavenly father.
