Joyce Dean (May) Lisby, age 85, of Florence passed away Monday, March 29th, 2021. Visitation will be private. Graveside service will be held Friday, April 2nd, 2021, 2pm at Tri-Cities Memorial Garden with Michael Jackson officiating. Elkins Funeral Home of Florence is in charge.
Joyce was preceded in death by her loving husband of 61 years, John E. Lisby Sr. (Ed).
Joyce is survived by her 5 children, Debbie Foster, Tony Lisby, John Lisby Jr. (Shellaine), Mike Lisby, and Renee Lisby. Eight grandchildren, Terry Foster, John E. Lisby III (Janae), Jamie McLemore (Kyle), Leah Foster, James McCreless (Abby), Haleigh Bain (Skyler), Chelsie Lisby (Logan) and Paige Pitts (Anllely). Great-grandchildren, Damien Dragon, Shailynn Beasley, Ace Bain, Kaylynn Vickery, Braylyn Futrell, Gaige Vickery, Jack Bain, Charleigh Bain, Brantley McCreless, Carter Smith, Jaxon Lamar and Magnolia Lisby.
Joyce retired from the dietary department of Glenwood Nursing Home.
Pallbearers will be, Tony Lisby, John Lisby Jr., Mike Lisby, James McCreless, Cody Sanchez, and Dwight Mears. Honorary pallbearer will be Jack Vickery.
