Judy Dean Gillis Lawson passed on from this earth September 30, 2018 after a brief illness. She was born in Florence, AL June 15, 1950 to Gearlene Barnes and Joe Gillis. Judy will be remembered for her generous, kind and loving spirit.

Survivors include: her two daughters, Mary Montgomery (Randall) and Pam Lawson; her son, Randall Lawson; two grandchildren, Brad Montgomery and Christian Hillis (Jacob); two great grandchildren; brother, Jimmy Lash and two sisters; Arlene Noble and Sandra Dupree and a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Judy is preceded in death by her parents and grandparents.

A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, October 4, 2018 at 7:00 p.m. at Elkins Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 6-7:00 at the funeral home.
