Mr. Ray Cantrell, 60, of Florence, passed away Saturday, June 20, 2009. The family will receive friends from 10-11 on Tuesday at Elkins Funeral Home with the funeral service at 11:00.
Ray is preceded in death by his mother Eloise Scott; brother David Green; and sister Sybil Hampton.
He is survived by his wife Linda (Frog); children, Kescler and Roy; stepchildren, Patrick, Sandy, John, and Jerry; and grandchildren, Katlin, Robin, Tyler, Laura, Cody, Bret, Chuckie, Jacob, Brittney, Cassie, Jamie, and Cotton.
Ray loved his dogs, Little Bit and Squeaky, who he called his best friends.
His family gives a special thanks to everyone at Midsouth Healthcare and very special friends, Phillip Clement, and Slim Thompson.
