Memorial Service for Karen Madelyn Simmons, 53, of Decatur, will be Saturday, January 5, 2013, at 3 p.m. at Ridout's Brown-Service Funeral Home with Brother Anthony Simmons officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
Mrs. Simmons died Wednesday, December 26, 2012. She was born April 10, 1959, in Morgan County to H.C. and Madelyn Kirby. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Survivors include her son, Kirby Shane Simmons; sister, Kay Clark; nephew, Jason Clark; and niece, Katie "Kristie" Clark.
