Funeral for Katharine "Kacky" Griffin Holland, 84, of Moulton will be today, December 28, 2009, at 2 p.m. at the Moulton Baptist Church with Dr. Ron Etheridge officiating and Elliott Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in Moulton Memory Gardens. The visitation will be from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the church. Mrs. Holland, who died Saturday, December 26, 2009, at Lawrence Medical Center, was born April 21, 1925, in Lawrence County to Ralph and Lonella Griffin. She was a lifelong member of the Moulton Baptist Church. She retired from the U.S. Postal Service. Her husband, Freeman L. Holland, preceded her in death. She is survived by two daughters, Jan Holland Stockton and her husband, Tony, and Karen Holland Little and her husband, Farol; three grandchildren, Kathryn Stockton Black and her husband, Wes, Phillip Holland Stockton and his wife, Amy, and Anna Farol Little; and one great-grandson, Brooks "Beau" Stockton Black.
