Funeral for Katherine Sandusky Ford, 90, of Decatur will be Friday, February 22, 2013 at 1 p.m. at Ridout's Brown-Service Funeral Home with Rev. Randy VanLandingham officiating. Burial will be at Roselawn Cemetery.
Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the Funeral Home.
Mrs. Ford, who died on February 19, 2013 at Decatur General, was born on February 2, 1924, in Decatur, Alabama to Clarence Sandusky and Arrie Betterton Sandusky.
Mrs. Ford was a member of th 9th Street United Methodist Church. She was retired with 42 years of service as a supervisor with South Central Bell.
She is preceded in death by her Granddaughter Laurel Gillard.
She is survived by her son, Charles Ford and wife Ruth; Daughter, Kathryn B. Ford, 4 Grandchildren; Taylor Ford and wife Sara, Lindsey Ford, Sara Graef and husband Jeremy, Andrew Gilliand, 1 Great-Grandchild, Greson Graef. A dear longtime family friend, Carol Richardson and loving nieces and nephews.
