Mrs. Katherine Poole, 69, of Florence, passed away Tuesday, January 10, 2012 at ECM Hospital.
The visitation will begin Thursday at 12:00 p.m. at Elkins Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 2:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Wade Richardson officiating. Burial will follow in the Pleasant Ridge Cemetery.
Mrs. Poole loved her family and friends, especially the great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Walter Poole.
She is survived by sons Tim Poole and wife Rhonda, Allan Poole and wife Debbie, Shannon Poole and wife Anita and Michael Poole and wife Melanie, all of Florence; grandchildren Jarrod Poole and wife Heather, Mallorie Shroyer and husband Nate, Brandon Poole, Derek Poole and wife Leah, Candace Truman and husband Matt, Chassity Poole and Seth Poole; great-grandchildren Tyson Poole, Caden Poole, Carson Pyle and Aubrey Shroyer.
Pallbearers will be Jarrod, Seth, Blake, Derek, Brandon and Tyler Armstrong.
