Kathryn Christine Maner of Decatur, Alabama passed away September 23, 2012 at the age of 89, at Decatur Health and Rehab. She was born August 14, 1923 in Hartselle, Alabama to Edward and Lottie Griffin Couey. She was a retiree of Goodyear rubber company and was a long time member of Southside Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband Royce Clifton Maner, 2 sisters Irene Flack of Nashville; Barbara Maples of Hartselle. Son Royce Maner of Phoenix,AZ. Daughter Phyllis Buchman and husband Norman of Trinity. Grandchildren Alan Maner and wife Deidra of Dallas,Tx.,Robert Maner of Phoenix,Az., Tracy Russell and Husband Jeremy of Decatur, Matthew Buchman and wife mary of Manchester,Tn., and 3 Great Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her brother Roy Couey of Hartselle.
Visitation will be on Thursday from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm at the funeral home.
Funeral services will be held Thursday September 27, 2012 at 2:00 PM at Ridout's Brown-Service Funeral Home Chapel. With Rev. Ben Hayes officiating.
