Kathy Jane Cartee Gillespie passed on Wednesday, September 19, at her home in Decatur.  She was a retired bookkeeper at NHC.

Funeral Service for Kathy will be on Saturday September 22,2018 , at Elliott Funeral Home at 1:00 pm. with visitation starting at 11:00 am. Officiating will be Shane Williams and Greg Standridge    Burial will be at East Lawrence Memorial Gardens.  Pallbearers will be family.

Kathy was born August 8, 1949 to Virgle and Jessie Cartee .

Survivors are children: Brian Gillespie (Beth) Greg Gillespie (Sonya) and Karen Harville.  Grandchildren are: Erika Gillespie Lowery, Kelsie Gillespie,  Katie Gillespie , Courtney  Gillespie,  Brianna Woolstrum, Haley Harville, Preston Harville, and Lisa Marie Johnson,  sister Janet Downey (Roy).

She is also survived by 10 Great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents , brothers: Robert, Larry, and Danny Cartee.
