Kathy Jackson, 66, of Florence died Thursday, October 10, 2019, at her residence.

Visitation will be Friday, October 11, 2019, 5-8 PM at Elkins Funeral Home.  Funeral services will be Saturday, October 12, 2019, 11 AM at Elkins Funeral Home with Chris Stokes officiating.  Burial will be at Tri-Cities Memorial Gardens.

Mrs. Jackson was a RN for 37 years and worked at ECM Hospital.  Kathy loved her time working with newborn babies in Labor & Delivery as well as the nursery at the hospital.  Kathy was an avid lover of crafting.  She had extraordinary talents in sewing and crocheting.  She especially enjoyed making classic baby and children's smocked and embroidered clothing.

She is survived by her loving husband of 51 years, Gene Jackson; three children, Jennifer Jackson Viall (Brad), Jason Jackson, and Jacqueline Beirne (Kevin); six grandchildren, Jackson Viall, Kaitlyn Viall, Austin Viall, Lauren Beirne, Elizabeth Beirne, and Ruairi Beirne; sisters, Shirley Reaves and Becky O'Kelley; brother, James Russell; pets, "Ruger" and "Buddy".

Pallbearers will be Jackson Viall, Britt Laster, Cobin Laster, Eddie Russell, William Thomas, and Samuel Laster.  Honorary pallbearer will be Austin Viall.
