Mr. Kenneth E. Lambert, age 52, of Rogersville, went to be with Jesus on Tuesday November 24, 2009.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday November 29, 2009 at 2 pm in the chapel of Elkins East Chapel in Center Star with burial to follow in Butler Cemetery. Monty Franklin and Henry Melton will be officiating. The family will receive friends on Saturday November 28, 2009 from 6 pm until 9 pm at the funeral home.
Mr. Lambert was preceded in death by his father, Arthur Lambert, and his brother, Thomas Paul Lambert. Kenneth was a veteran of the U. S. Navy. He was a homebuilder and craftsman.
Kenneth loved the Lord more than life. It was his desire to see Jesus'' face.
Mr. Lambert is survived by his loving wife of 25 years, Myra Lambert; his daughters, Jamie Lee Bowling (Garry) and Amy Lynn Wells (Keith Bryan); Matthew Kyle Dotson, whom he loved as his son; his two granddaughters, the apples of his eyes, Olivia Wells and Sydney Bowling; his mother, Pauline Lambert of Collinwood, TN; five sisters, June Caperton of Iron City, TN, Joan Thompson (Steve) of Florence, Wanda Hanback (Jimmy) of Tuscumbia, Connie Wilson of Florence, and Judy Herring of Tuscumbia; three brothers, Alvin Lambert (Cheryl) of Iron City, TN, Wayne Lambert (Cathy) of Waterloo, and Scottie Lambert (Wanda) of Cypress Inn, TN; and many nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Roger Lard, John Wallace, Lee Tidwell, Will Vickers, Jackie Roberson, and Andy O''Daniel.
