Kenneth Wharton Huntsville Funeral for Kenneth Wharton , 55, of Huntsville will be Thursday, August 16, 2012, at 6 p.m. at Ridout's Brown-Service Chapel with the Rev. J.D. Thorne and the Rev. Bernie Dixon officiating. A private burial will be held in Roselawn Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Mr. Wharton died Monday, August 13, 2012. He was a member of Point Mallard Parkway Baptist Church, The Decatur Eighters Square Dance Club and Singles & Doubles Square Dance Club of Huntsville. Survivors include his wife, Betty Wharton; two stepsons, Scott and Michael Lawrence; one daughter, Marie Wharton; and one brother, Thomas Wharton.
