Funeral for Kevin Head, 42, of Decatur will be Monday, Oct. 22, 2007, at 2 p.m. at Ridout''s Brown-Service Funeral Home with the Rev. Ricky Lowery officiating. Burial will be in Decatur City Cemetery. Visitation will be tonight from 6 to 8 at the funeral home.

Mr. Head, who died Friday, Oct. 19, 2007, at Parkway Medical Center, was born July 5, 1965, in Limestone County. He was a graduate of East Limestone High School. He was Assistant Coach for the West Morgan five and six year-olds' football team, and an avid Auburn Football fan. He was a member and trustee of Greenbrier Baptist Church. His father, Tommy "Red" Head, preceded him in death.

Survivors include his wife, Valerie Head; five children, Hunter, Skylar, Savannah, Cameron and Xavier; his mother, Judy Head; two brothers, Michael Head and Rodney Head and wife, Kristy; two nephews, Nathan and Hayden; one niece, Christy; and one aunt, Ruby Head. Pallbearers will be deacons and trustees of Greenbriar Baptist Church.

Memorials may be made to the Greenbriar Baptist Church Missionary Fund.
