Kirkland Thomas "Tom" Byars of Vestavia Hills, Al. Joined our lord on December 10, 2020. He was born in Decatur, Al. to William and Shirley Byars on February 14, 1955. He is survived by his children Daniel (Abigale), Chris (Kelbe) and Margaret Byars. Known as Sasquatch to his beloved Kappa Sigma brothers, He received his BA and MA from UA. A member of the church of the Highlands he loved spreading the Gospel. a Graveside will be held on December 14, 2020 at 1:30 PM at Decatur City Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the Dream Center in Woodland through COTH.
