L. C. Tays' Obituary
L. C. Tays, Jr., of Killen died Saturday, July 26, 2014, at Glenwood Rehabilitation.
Visitation will be Tuesday, July 29, 2014, at Killen Church of Christ from 10 AM to 12 PM. Funeral services will be 12 PM with Bro. Stan Dean officiating. Burial will be at Tri-Cities Memorial Gardens. Elkins East Chapel is assisting the family.
Mr. Tays served in the US Army after WWII. He was joint owner of Alabama Oil Company.
He was preceded in death by his devoted and loving wife Frances Tays; son, Mark Tays.
L.C. is survived by his son, Deron Tays; daughter-in-law, Vicki Tays; sister, Jane Thomas; six grandchildren, Brandon Tays, Zeth Tays, Tara Cardwell, Cayle Tays, Lucas Tays, and Toby Tays; four great-grandchildren, Charleigh Ann Tays, River Tays, Blakleigh Tays, and Kaleigh Beth Cardwell.
Pallbearers will be Zeth Tays, Cayle Tays, Lucas Tays, Toby Tays, Brandon Tays, and Wes Cardwell.
Special thanks to Brooke Tays for all your love and care that you gave L. C. during the past few years.
