Lady Ruth Dunlap's Obituary
Lady Ruth Dunlap, 91, of Florence passed away on Thursday, August 27, 2015 at Glenwood Center. Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. on Saturday at Elkins Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 11 a.m. with Rev. Chris Underwood officiating. Burial will be in Tri-Cities Memory Gardens.
A member of Highland Baptist Church, Ruth was active in the WMU. She spent her life always ministering and serving others.
Survivors include her son, Philip Dunlap (Charlotte); "daughter-in-love" Michelle Greenhill; grandchildren, Jonathan Dunlap and Laura Brown (Wes); niece, DeAnna Flippo (Don); and nephew, Mitch Phillips (Cheryl).
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Dunlap; parents, Grover and Bertha Phillips; brother, Bill Phillips; and sister, Mary Jo Phillips.
