Memorial service for Larry Frisby, 63, of Decatur will be Saturday, February 18, 2012, at 11 a.m. at Ridout's Brown-Service Chapel with the Reverend Barry Thompson officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
Mr. Frisby, who died Thursday, February 2, 2012, at his residence, was born August 20, 1948, in Martinez, Calif., to Herman and Myrna Frisby. During the 1960s and 1970s, he was employed building submarines for the U.S. Government - a job he enjoyed. He came to Decatur in the mid-1970s, where later he worked for Lakeland Industries.
Survivors include one sister, Cathy Sloan; two brothers, Kenneth Frisby and Richard Frisby; nephew, Anthony Wright; niece, Samantha Wright; two great-nieces, Anthonia and Nadia Wright; and great-nephew, Joshua Wright.
