Funeral for Larry Wayne West, 53, of Decatur will be Thursday, Feb. 28, 2008, at 11 a.m. at Ridout's Brown-Service Funeral Home with the Rev. Charles Foreman officiating. Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery. Visitation will be tonight from 6 to 8 at the funeral home. Mr. West, who died Sunday, Feb. 24, 2008, at his residence, was born Jan. 24, 1955, in Alabama to Emmett West and Lula Mae West. He was a Baptist. He worked at Defco for 30 years. Survivors include two brothers, Ernest and L.E. West, and four sisters, Mary F. Holt, Willodean Campbell, Ruth Davis and Nadean Reid, all of Decatur.
