Lavera Phillips Campbell age 91, passed away Wednesday March 13, 2013. Visitation will be Saturday from Noon till 2pm at Elkins East Chapel. Services will be at 2pm in the chapel with Bertis Ray and Bill Patton officiating. Burial will be at Tri-Cities Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Campbell was preceded in death by her husband Jack, father and mother Jim and Mamie Phillips, two brothers and four sisters.
Lavera is survived by son; Barry Campbell and wife Kim of Rogersville, daughter; Teena Dale and husband Russ of Rochester Hills MI, sister; Charlene Pierce and four grandchildren; Daniel and Kasey Campbell and Mitchell and Miles Dale.
Lavera was a faithful member of First Baptist Church of Rogersville. She retired from TVA and during her retirement was involved in several volunteer organizations. Lavera enjoyed cooking and was loved by all who knew her. She took great pleasure in helping those in need.
Pallbearers will be Daniel Campbell, Mitchell Dale, Miles Dale, Jeff Davis, Jamie Holden and Blake Holden.
