Laverne T. Jeffreys, 91, of Decatur passed away on December 4, 2020 at Summerford nursing home. The Family will have a Private Graveside on Wednesday December 9, 2020 at Burningtree cemetery and Alan Watkins will officiate and Ridout's Brown-Service will direct.

Mrs. Jeffreys was born on December 28, 1928 in Lawrence County and she was preceded in death by her husband James L. Jeffreys.

She is survived by:

Sons, James W. Jeffreys
Roger Jeffreys and wife Vicki
Granddaughters, Tracy Sammond, Lendy Hancock, Leslie Dawson and Courtney Greene
Great-Grandchildren, Lauren, Tristan, Garet, Chase, Abbie, Matt, Alex, Makenzie, Will and Charley
Great Great-Grandchildren, Kennedi and Cohen
Brothers, Ronnie Terry, Jackie Terry and Danny Terry
Sister, Martha Sexton
