Funeral for Laverne Bolton Terry, 83, of Trinity will be Friday, September 7, 2012, at 2 p.m. at Ridout's Brown-Service Funeral Home with the Rev. Steve Caudle officiating. Burial will be in Grange Hall Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
Mrs. Terry, who died Tuesday, September 4, 2012, at Limestone Lodge, was born March 5, 1929, in Lawrence County. She worked for West Morgan School System for 30-plus years. She was as a Sunday school teacher for over 35 years at Trinity Baptist Church. Her husband, Jeff Terry, preceded her in death.
Survivors include one sister, Lennie Ruth Moore and her husband, James "Jimmy" Moore; and several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers are Charles Sears, Sean Sears, Jim Aldridge, Kelly Randolph, Chuck Moore and Larry Martin.
