Lawrence Owens' Obituary
Lawrence Edward Owens, 62, of Killen, died Nov. 24, 2010. Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. today at Elkins Funeral Home, East Chapel, Center Star. His graveside service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in Dement Cemetery.
Mr. Owens was preceded in death by his parents, Lawrence and Irma Owens, and brother, David Owens. He is survived by his wife, Danielle Rebecca Owens; children, Lawrence E. Owens II (Michelle), Dawn Owens Alred (Mark), Raymond Lance Owens (Larah), and Hunter Dane Owens; grandchildren, Sandra Marie Alred, Lauren, Nicholas and Jake Owens; sisters, Virginia Woodall (Bill), Tilly Daniels (Jerry), Carol Clem (Larry), Hope Williams, Sandy Davis (Billy), Sue Smith (Randy); brothers, Julian Owens (Linda), Mike Owens (Shea), Don Owens (Darla); several nieces and nephews.
Lawrence was an avid hunter and fisherman and loved his family and others.
Pallbearers are Mark Owens, Troy Clem, Steven Williams, Blake Grisham, Taylor Scott and Michael Harbin.
Elkins Funeral Home, East Chapel, Center Star, is assisting the family.
