Mrs. Lela Snoddy Dison, age 101, of Rogersville, passed away Friday, August 05, 2011 at Glenwood Healthcare. Mrs. Dison was a longtime member of the First Cumberland Presbyterian Church, Rogersville and the Missionary Society there. She loved flowers and was a member of the Rogersville Garden Club.She was preceded in death by her husband Walter Dison and her son Gerald Dison. Visitation will be Sunday beginning at 1:00 p.m. at the First Cumberland Presbyterian Church followed by the funeral at 3:00 p.m. The Rev. Pat Driscoll will officiate. Burial will follow in the Civitan Cemetery. Elkins East Chapel Funeral Home is assisting the family. Mrs. Dison is survived by grandsons Jonathan Dison and wife Larissa of Athens and Bob Dison and wife Aletha of Athens: great- grandchildren Haley, Trent and Sasha Dison; daughter-in-law Hilda Dison of Rogersville; sisters Marie Oldham and Betty Narmore of Center Star; brothers Reeder Snoddy of Toney, Maples Snoddy of Huntsville,Billy Snoddy and Johnny Snoddy of Center Star.
