Visitation for Lela Mae McCoy, 88, will be today, January 15, 2018 from 10 a.m. to noon at Ridout''s Brown-Service Funeral Home. The funeral will follow at noon at the funeral home, with Reverend Charles Forman officiating. Burial will be at Mt. Pisgah Cemetery. Mrs. McCoy, who died Friday, January 12, 2018, was born on October 20, 1929 in Virginia to Everett and Sarah G. Carden.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Harry O''Dell McCoy; and her sons, Dale McCoy and Raymond McCoy.

Survivors include her children, Carolyn McCoy, Valerie Kelly, Ann Borden, Kathy West (husband, L.E. West), Jimmy McCoy (wife, Samantha McCoy); 20 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and ten great-great-granchildren.

Pallbearers will be Brad West, Johnathan Morgan, Austin Morgan, Michael McCoy, Austin Borden, and Timmy Hudson.
