Lellon Thomas Peck
Lellon T. Peck, 81, of Killen died Thursday, June 2, 2011, at his residence. Visitation will be Friday, June 3, 2011,from 6-9PM at Elkins East Chapel. Funeral services will be Saturday, June 4, 2011, at 2PM, at Center Star Church of Christ with Bro. Bill Lyons officiating. Mr. Peck will lie in state from 1-2PM at the church. Burial will be at Butler Cemetery. Mr. Peck was a veteran of the Korean Conflict and served in the US Army. He was a member of Center Star Church of Christ. He was a proud family man, loved woodworking, working outdoors and being with his family. He was preceded in death by his parents, Rhinot J. and Mamie Thompson Peck. Mr. Peck is survived by his loving wife, Betty Peck of Killen; daughter, Pam Passafiume (David) of Louisville, KY; son, Derrel Peck (Faith) of Pelham, AL; six grandchildren, Kelli Thompson (Layne), Drew Peck, Chase Passafiume, Katie Passafiume, David Passafiume, Jr., and Emily Passafiume; great grandson, Brody Butler; two sisters, Colleen Morris (Leonard) and Dora Clemmons (Jerry); four brothers, Alton Peck (Jeanice), Gerald Peck (Virginia), Charles Peck (Becky), and Ralph Peck (Donna). Pallbearers will be Drew Peck, Layne Thompson, David Passafiume, David Passafiume, Jr., Chase Passafiume, and Glenn McInnish.
