Lenice Jewell Putman, 78, passed away Wednesday, February 20, 2019, at Huntsville Hospital after an extended illness.

She was preceded in death by her husband of over 45 years, Jean Edward Putman. They spent 20 years of their life serving their country in the US Air Force.

She leaves behind to cherish her memories, daughters, Brenda Foster (Bob) of Killen and Becky Thorton (Terry) of Greenhill; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was loved by all and never met a stranger.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to your favorite charity in remembrance of Jewell.

I look to the clouds and I see you when the wind blows, I feel you. The sun in my face reminds me of your gentle warmth. You are carelessly free as a feather in the wind. Rest easy my beloved mother. Wait for me on the other side, Heaven.
