Leonard "Bucky" Jacobs, 69, of Florence, died Sunday July 18, 2010. Visitation will be Wednesday July 21, 2010, from 11 AM until 1 PM at Elkins East Chapel. The funeral will follow at 1 PM in the funeral home chapel with Brother Chris Underwood officiating. Burial will be in Butler cemetery. He was preceded in death by his wife; Edna Faye Moore. Survivors include his daughter; Delores Dowdy of Florence, Grandchildren; Jerome Dowdy, Dawn Turbyfill and John Lisby III, Great-grandchildren; Cassius King, Corbin Turbyfill, Cade Dowdy and Presley Dowdy. Pallbearers will include: Jerome Dowdy, Lance Derrick, Scott Thorne, Bo Balentine, J. W. Durham and Daniel Durham .
