Lettie Ray Thigpen, age 92, Killen, Alabama, passed away Sunday, November 20, 2016, at El Reposo Nursing Facility after an extended illness.
Visitation will be Tuesday, November 22, 2016, at Elkins East Chapel from 11 AM to 1 PM. A graveside service will follow at 1:30 PM at Bluewater Cemetery, with Bro. Stan Dean officiating.
Mrs. Thigpen was preceded in death by her husband, James Farley Thigpen; sister, Irene Comer; parents, John Lewis and Nora Lee Ray.
Mrs. Thigpen is survived by her daughters, Linda Carroll and husband Johnnie and Judith Rickard and husband Andy; three grandchildren, Darrin Garner, Andrea Rickard, and Dana Trockenbrot and husband Tim; two great-grandchildren, Hanna Rae Garner and Kaden Rickard.
