Funeral for Lewis L. Brown, 87, of Decatur will be Monday, September 16, 2013, at 2 p.m. at Ridout's Brown-Service Funeral Home. Burial will be in Burningtree Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from noon to 2 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mr. Brown died Saturday, September 14, 2013. He was born August 31, 1926, in Louisville, Kentucky, to George and Lizzie Brown. He was retired from Alabama Farmers Cooperative. He was preceded in death by one son, Larry Brown; two brothers, George W. Brown and Charles Brown; and one sister, Lois Cook.

Survivors include his wife, Christine Brown; one son, Barry Brown (Teresa); one granddaughter, Amanda McCurry (Chris); one great-granddaughter, Lily Beth McCurry; and one sister, Narcie Mae Braswell (Billy Don).
