Graveside service for Lillian Brakeman, 90, of Decatur will be Tuesday, Oct. 16, 2007, at 2 p.m. at Roselawn Cemetery with brother Joe Hoover officiating and Ridout''s Brown-Service Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be Tuesday from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the funeral home. Mrs. Brakeman, who died Saturday, Oct. 13, 2007, was born Oct. 30, 1916, in Texas to James Wellborn and Isabel Denney Wellborn. She was a member of Flint Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents and one son, Charles Brakeman. Survivors include four sons, James Franklin Brakeman and wife, Janie, of Decatur, Richard Brakeman and wife, Jewel, of Moulton, David Brakeman and wife, Sheila, of Decatur, and Bobby Brakeman and wife, Linda, of Decatur; one daughter, Lynn Gregory of Hartselle; 17 grandchildren; and 22 great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be James Hulsey, Bobby Brakeman, Stewart Brakeman, Greg Brakeman, Michael Brakeman and Robert Johnson.
