Funeral for Marie Turner, 82, of Hillsboro will be Saturday, Oct. 11, 2008, at 1:00 p.m. at New Antioch Church of Christ with Bill Brazier and Hoyt Nelson officiating and Elliott Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in Moulton Memory Gardens. Visitation will be tonight, Friday, October 10, 2008 from 6 to 9 at the funeral home. Mrs. Turner, who died Wednesday, Oct. 8, 2008, at Huntsville Hospital, was born Feb. 22, 1926, in Lawrence County to Elbert and Lora Bowman. She was a lifelong member of New Antioch Church of Christ. Her husband of 55 years, Ralph Turner, preceded her in death. Survivors include one son, Terry Turner and his wife, Glenda; two daughters, Linda Parker and her husband, Ollin, and Becky Houk and her husband, Wayne; one brother, Buford Bowman; one sister, Beulah Glenn and her husband, Joe; 10 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
