Lillie Roy Thompson, 92, of Florence died Friday, December 7, 2018, at her residence.

Visitation will be Wednesday, December 12, 2018, 4-7 PM at Elkins Funeral Home, Florence.  Funeral service will be Thursday, December 13, 2018, 12 PM at Eastside Church of Christ on Tombigbee Street in Florence, with James Gray officiating.  Mrs. Thompson will lie-in-state 1 hour prior to service.  Burial will be at Tri-Cities Memorial Gardens.

Mrs. Thompson was preceded in death by her husband, Wesley Thompson; daughter, Sherrie Elaine Roy; parents, McKinley and Betty Dollison Roy; 8 siblings.

Mrs. Thompson is survived by her children, Vivian Boddy, Rosemary Pruitt (Karel), Sherrod W. Roy, Betty McDaniel (David), Carol Lumbus, Freddie Roy (Carolyn Fayette), and Allen Keith Roy; grandchildren, 10; great-grandchildren, 35; sisters-in-law, Mrs. Virginia Summerhill and Mrs. Caldwell; 40 nieces and 35 nephews.

Pallbearers will be Jerry H. Bailey, Allen Keith Roy, Jamir Harris, Jlon Harris, Jeffery Harris, and Keevon Davis.
