LILLY EZELL
Mrs. Lilly Ezell, age 99, of Center Star, passed away at her home Thursday, September 3, 2009.
The funeral service will be Saturday at 2:00 p.m. at the Pleasant Valley Church of Christ with Todd Walton and Ron Harmon officiating. Burial will follow in the Pleasant Valley Cemetery. Visitation will be from noon until service time at the church.
Mrs. Ezell was a member of the Pleasant Valley Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her husband, Johnnie "Shine" Ezell, grandchildren, Debra Wade and Johnny Ezell, great-grandchildren Johna Hites and Paul Joseph Wade, parents Harrison and Ella Skipworth, and sisters Mae Comer and Ethel Tays.
She is survived by children, Hilton Ezell, Ronald Ezell (Linda), Pat Ezell (Peggy), Jimmy Ezell (Beverly), Larry Ezell, Bill Ezell (Kathy), Doris Hites, Elizabeth Aday (Lloyd), Joyce Robinson (Sidney), and Angela Hice (Larry); 15 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Greg Ezell, Jim Ezell, Gerald Ezell, John Thomas Moore, David Deering, and Tim Ezell. Honorary pallbearers will be Bill Steen, David Gresham, Tony Barnett and Mark Gresham.
The family would like to thank Wiregrass Hospice. Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children''s Hospital or the American Cancer Society.
