She is survived by son, Robert Walker (Shellie), son Tom Walker (Nikki), son Derek Jackson (Amy), sister Laura Seblia (Joe), sister Lesa Flaming (Jim), sister Lanita Merrit, sister Lucindy Prater (Paul); 8 grandchildren: Cody, Brittany (Dillan), Destiny (Morgan), Amberly (Justin), Levi (Nevaeh), Brandon, Chandler (Sara), and Gracie; 5 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews, all of whom will cherish her memory.

She also leaves behind her pet and companion Charlie, whom she loved tremendously. Throughout her career she worked many jobs, but most notably was the many years spent in food-service and cooking for the public, which she greatly enjoyed. She was a wonderful cook, both inside and outside the home.

One of her most-loved jobs was at Danville Baptist WeeCare, where she planned menus, did the shopping and cooked many many meals for the children and her co-workers alike. She had a special talent for these tasks and was appreciated by her employer for her penchant to plan menus around sale prices and if you know Linda, she loved a good bargain!

Outside of work, Linda enjoyed several hobbies, including bank-fishing (her favorite) anywhere there might be a fish to catch. She also enjoyed shopping, traveling to Panama City Beach, Tunica casinos, and multiple arts and crafts. She also truly enjoyed floral arranging and crafting items to decorate her home and loved making gifts for family and friends.

Throughout her life, Linda was also a dog-mom to many pets. They were very precious to her and she always claimed that she needed them as much as they needed her and insisted that her life wouldn't have been as fulfilled without them.

Linda will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who had the pleasure of knowing her. May her kind and generous spirit live on in our hearts forever.
