Linda Hallmark Meek, 62, of Florence passed away on Sunday, March 2, 2014 at ECM Hospital. Visitation will be from 1 to 3 p.m. on Wednesday at Elkins Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 3 p.m. Stan Dean officiating. Burial will be in Tri-Cities Memorial Garden.

Mrs. Meek was a member of Killen Church of Christ and served on the Board of the ARC of the Shoals. She loved to cook and knit and attending all activities that her grandkids participated in.

Mrs. Meek is survived by her husband, Marvin L. Meek; children, Laura Wisdom, Craig Meek; and Keith Meek (Bridgett); grandchildren, Whitney, Wesley and Walker Wisdom, Hunter, Houston and Holden Meek; mother-in-law, Sallie Meek; siblings, Carol Henley, Janet Lammers (David), and Gary Hallmark; sister-in-law, Martha Gray (Dewey); step-brothers, Mike Hunt (Marsha) and Lance Hunt (Margie); nieces and nephews, Elizabeth Lee (Jake), Clay Henley (Ryann), Christopher Henley, Leigh Ann Franks, Kara Grubbs, Amy Hallmark, Will Gray and Katie Mash (Phillip); many great-nieces and great-nephews; special aunts, Margaret Wilburn and Peggy Parr; and special friend, Betty Black.

She was preceded in death by her parents, William A. and Jean Hallmark; step-mother, Mary Kathryn Hallmark; and father-in-law, Neval Meek.

Pallbearers will be Jimmy Black, Mike Hunt, Doyce Couch, Brian Long, Leon Nale and Murray Townsend. Honorary pallbearers will be her grandsons.
