Linda Chapin, 78, of Florence passed away Thursday, October 12, 2017 at her home. Graveside service will be held Saturday, October 14, 2017 at 3:00P.M. at Greenview Memorial Park. Pastor Jason Moore will officiate.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Lorene Moore; grandparents, John and Myrtle Claxton; and son, Mike Chapin.

She is survived by her husband, David "Tommy" Chapin; son, Randy Chapin; Brother Mike Moore (Frances); and many nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Chapin was a 1957 graduate of Coffee High School; loved travel, antiques, working in the flower garden, reading novels, doing her word search books and cooking. She was a member of Woodmont Baptist on Darby Drive in Florence.
