Linda A. Purser, 66, of Florence died Friday, May 03, 2019, at her residence.

Visitation will be Saturday, May 11, 2019, 1-2 PM at Elkins Funeral Home.  A memorial service will follow at 2 PM in the chapel with Rev. Mike Samuels and Rev. Dwight Ridinger officiating.

Mrs. Purser attended St. John Methodist Church.

Mrs. Purser was preceded in death by her parents, Alfred P. and Ruth F. Floyd Grigalus; step mother, Elise Korbas; sister, Maureen LaPoint; brother, Donald McCabe.

Mrs. Purser is survived by her loving husband of 45 years, Larry D. Purser; daughters, Jennifer Harris (Aubry), Tonya Green (Chris), and Amy Gean (Brian McFalls); grandchildren, Loren, Baylee, Justin, Alie, Dylan, Jake, Garret, Ryan and Matt; sisters, Diane Vaughan (Ted) and Rhonda Thompkins; brothers, Gary Grigalus (Kathy), Morris McCabe (Mary), Tom McCabe (Kim), and Michael McCabe; sister-in-law, Janet Purser; brother-in-law, Dennis Purser (Vicky); numerous nieces and nephews.

The family would like to express their heart felt thanks to Amedysis Hospice and to the North Alabama Cancer Center for all of the love and support shown to Mrs. Purser.
