Linda Stone, 65, of Florence passed away on Monday, November 3, 2014 at her residence. Visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m. Friday, November 7, 2014 at Elkins East Chapel with a memorial service to celebrate her life following at 6 p.m.

Linda was a member of the First Baptist Church in Center Star and was loved by all who knew her. She lived life to the fullest and enjoyed being with people, especially her grandchildren.

Survivors include her daughters, Jamie Long (Brian) and Dana Stone; mother, Oletha "MeMe" Nabors; sister, Pam Wheat; brother, Tom Nabors (Chris); grandchildren, Britany Green (Heath), Katie McCormack, Kasey McCormack, Michael Long, Jr. and Ethan Long; and one great grandchild on the way.

Linda was preceded in death by her father, Claude Nabors; brother, Bill Nabors; and brother-in-law, Lynn Wheat.
