Funeral for Lisa Gay Rice,64, of Gardendale will be on Thursday February, 23 at 2:00 PM at Ridout's Brown-Service Chapel in Decatur,  Alabama. Burial will follow at Roselawn Cemetery.

Mrs. Rice was born on May 29, 1958 in Decatur to Marlin Roy Wenzel and Shirley Hasting Wenzel both deceased, And passed away February 20, 2023 in Birmingham Alabama. She was a graduate of Austin High school and attended Calhoun Community college. She is retired from Alabama Power with 15 years service as a Sales and Service Representative. She loved the Lord and her family, Once a broken lady on earth, now whole in heaven. She is preceded in death by grandparents Tommy and Elmeta Hasting, Dr. and Mrs. H.J. Wenzel, Aunt Corrine St. John.

Survivors are Sons Brandon Rice and Marcus Rice. Aunts Betty Hasting Montgomery and husband Don, Marlene Hodges. Special cousin Rusty Montgomery. Uncle Dr. Terrill Wenzel and wife Jeanette.
