Funeral for Lois Mote, 76, of Lawrence County will be Tuesday, December 6, 2011, at 2 p.m. at Elliott Funeral Home with Rich Thompson officiating. Burial will be in East Lawrence Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
Mrs. Mote, who died Friday, December 2, 2011, was born April 18, 1935, in Lawrence County to Willie and Ellan Owens. She retired from NHC.
She is survived by her daughter, Linda Flynn and sons, Rodney Mote and Roger Mote, all of Trinity; one brother, Joe Owens (Frances) of Moulton; seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Casey Wolf, Lowell Mote, Anthony Allred, Eddie Owens, Kirk Owens and Richard Joiner.
Memorials may be made to Hospice of the Valley.
