Funeral for Lorea Owens, 88, of Moulton, will be Saturday, January 27, 2007 at 3:00 PM at Elliott Funeral Home with Ray McWhorter officiating. Burial will be in Red Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday 6 until 8 at the funeral home. Mrs. Owens, who died Wednesday, January 24, 2007, was born on March 10, 1918 to Emmett and Nancy Jane Armstrong. She loved music and being with friends. She worked at Lawrence Co. Hospital for many years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Emmett Owens and a step-son, Edward Owens. She is survived by one son, Kenneth Owens and wife Linda, one step-son, Mervin Owens and wife Bernice; four grandchildren, Pam McCaghren and husband Ronnie, Phillisa Johnson and husband Stacy, Tim Owens and Keith Owens and wife Sandy; eleven great-grandchildren, Matthew, Logan, Riley, Amanda, Jacob, Nick, Blake, Michael, Elizabeth, Abigal and Nathaniel; one great-great-grandchild Cassidy Jones.
