L.C. Tackett, who died 8/26/2019, was born September 20, 1949 to Albert and Dessie Tackett.  He served in the Vietnam Conflict. He was a member of Family Worship Center.  He retired from Morgan County Court House and Mutual Savings Life Insurance Co.  Louie was a base singer in the Altarman Quartet.

He is survived by his wife, Wanda Simmons Tackett, son, chris Hensley and wife Jennifer and sister Jenell Tackett.  Grandchildren: cady Hensley and Luke Hensley and wife Kelly.

He is preceded in death by parents and two sisters: Naomi Jacobs and Wanda Kimbril.

Visitation will be Thursday, August 29 at Ridout's Brown Service funeral home from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm.  Funeral service will be Friday, August 30 at 11:00 am at the funeral home with Rev. Dale Dilbeck officiating.

Internment will be at Roselawn Cemetery
