Funeral service for Louise Jones Donahue Hill, 98, Decatur will be Monday Mar. 27, 2017 at 2 p.m. at Ridout's Brown-Service Funeral Home with Rev. Taylor Todd officiating. Burial will be at Roselawn Cemetery. Visitation will be from 12 to 2 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mrs. Hill who died on March 23, 2017 at home, was born in Lincoln County, Tennessee to Leslie Jones and Etna Raby Jones. She was preceded in death by her parents, four sisters, Lorena Bowling, Lena Mae Hayes, Elsie Bass, and Mary Royer, one brother, Billy Jones, and two husbands, T.J. Donahue and Clarence Hill.
She was a 1937 graduate of Decatur Riverside High School, a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church from 1931 until present. She was employed at Alabama Hosiery Mill, Cook's Pest Control, Hill's Grocery, and retired from Anderson Office Products.
She is survived by three step-sons; Harold Hill, Kenneth Hill, and Gary Hill all of Decatur, one step-daughter; Gloria Gray of Tuscaloosa, eleven step-grandchildren and a number of step-great-grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be nephews and close family members.
